1- The very first thing you need to do is to install a changeover switch that should be (about 63-100A depends on the load). It should be installed right near the main distribution board in your house.
2- The next thing to do is to connect the main power supply, both neutral and line as incoming with the first upper slots that you can see of the changeover switch.
3-Take a 6 AWG (7/064″ or 16mm2)” cable wire to the slots that are on the lower side of the switch.
4- Take a 3 pin power socket right to the 6AVG wire and install it right onto the wall that’s near the generator. Now take the generator’s 3 pin power plug and insert it inside the socket, which you just installed earlier.
5- You are now all set to supply energy to the appliances in your house when the power runs out.
